I have been thinking about giving Dragon Naturally Speaking a go for a while, and I think this post might have swayed me. Do they work with dictaphones? for example could I record what I want typed while stuck in traffic, then get it written up back at the PC.

I thought I’d get faster at typing, but my two-finger method is still too slow. I’m going to look into invoicing my company for MacSpeech — thanks for the link.

Interesting. I do a lot of freelance writing and often times, I get very tired with typing thousands of words every hour. So I really need to look into getting a dictation software like Dragon Naturally Speaking. I am pretty sure that I’ll be much more efficient. Anyways, thanks for sharing your experience.

I think if you add the time it takes to go back and correct mistakes by dictation machines it will work out to be similar

this takes a little while to get it to recognize you but once you do it is amazingly fast!!!
